Well, if you are reading this today, you survived another week of Phillies baseball. If you hadn't determined where this season was headed yet, the taunts of a furry squirrel in last night's game against the Cardinals (naturally) painted a clear picture for you.

The Phillies are on a pace for 108 losses and this train 'aint-a-stopping. Normally I would indulge you in the player ups and downs but I frankly don't have the stomach for it. Instead, I give you this:

Name BA
Ben Revere .279
Maikel Franco .273
Jeff Francoeur .260
Freddy Galvis .258
Cameron Rupp .253
Andres Blanco .250
Odubel Herrera .248
Ryan Howard .236
Darin Ruf .235
Carlos Ruiz .233
Cesar Hernandez .228
Cody Asche .227
Chase Utley .181
Domonic Brown .158
Team Totals .237
Non-Pitcher Totals .242

Before we get to the team leaders, a quick public service announcement.

Weekly Chase Utley Update

Rankings among qualified players:

.181 average (2nd worst), .258 OBP (6th worst), .281 SLG (#1 worst), .539 OPS (#1 worst)

Chase Utley has become tragicomic at this point (new word I learned and it is perfect).

He actually dropped in each category over the last week and now he is the worst slugging percentage and the worst OPS of all regular players in baseball.

Utley's contract vests for $15 million dollars if he reaches 500 plate appearances. I love what he has done for this organization, but I don't think they can let him reach that mark. Utley structured such a cool contract, you can see it here, that the Phillies still have options on him if they choose to keep him. But the Phillies cannot allow themselves to be locked in for another season.

That's all I have to say about that.

Here are your Phillies leaders.
