Game 2 REDS Won 7-4 Roy Oswalt Jose Contreras   Brad Lidge Phillies were down 4-0 in the fifth, but scored two runs in bottom of fifth - with runner on first and 2 outs, Brandon Phillips and Scott Rolen committed back-to-back errors and Utley hit a two run single. Down 4-3 in seventh, with runners on first and second and one out, Rollins hit liner that Reds right-fielder missed and Phillies took 5-4 lead. Phils added two more and Lidge held on for save.
Game 3 Reds Won 2-0 Cole Hamels Cole Hamels     Hamels pitches complete game 5 hit shutout.

Game 1 GIANTS Lost 3-4 Roy Halladay   Roy Halladay   Halladay gave up two solo homers to Cody Ross and Ruiz hit solo homer and Phils down 2-1 early. Two out double by Burrell of Ibanez' glove and another two-out single gave Giants 4-1 lead. Werth hit two-run homer in bottom of sixth made score 4-3 but couldn't score again in 4-3 loss.
Game 2 GIANTS Won 6-1 Roy Oswalt Roy Oswalt     Roy Oswalt surrendered 1 run in eight innings. Phillies took 1-0 lead with bases loaded walk by Jimmy Rollins and game was tied in thanks to another solo homerun by Cody Ross that also broke up no hitter. Phils manufactured run in bottom of fifth with sac fly by Polanco. Phils took 3-1 lead when Oswalt scored and ran through stop sign. Then Rollins hit bases loaded double for 6-1 lead.
Game 3 Giants Lost 0-2 Cole Hamels   Cole Hamels   Hamels was strong early, but gave up 2 in the fourth on a leadoff hit by Renteria, two out walk by Burrell, and an error that was ruled a hit by Utley. The Giants scored again with a double by Rowand and two out single by Sanchez. Phillies shut out by Matt Cain.
Game 4 Giants Lost 5-6 Joe Blanton   Roy Oswalt   Giants scored a run in the 1st and again in the third, but Phillies scored 4 runs in the fifth. Victorino hit RBI single that scored a run and then Ruiz was out at the plate. A double by Polanco scored two and wild pitch scored another.The Giants scored one in the fifth and two in the sixth to take a 5-4 lead. The Phils tied the game in the eighth with back to back doubles by Howard and Werth, but Rollins popped up with no outs and Francisco and Ruiz struck out so game was tied. Charlie brought in Oswalt in ninth but he gave up two singles and a sac fly to Uribe and Giants won 6-5.
Game 5 Giants Won 4-2 Roy Halladay Roy Halladay   Brad Lidge Giants scored first when Utley couldn't complete double-play with two outs. Phils took 3-1 lead in 3rd - with two on base Halladay hit sacrifice that was clearly foul, then on next place Huff's error scored two and Polanco followed with sac fly. Phillies added run in 9th on solo homer by Werth and Lidge pitched perfect ninth for save.
Game 6 GIANTS Lost 2-3 Roy Oswalt Ryan Madson     It looked great from the start when the Phillies scored two in the first and after the benches cleared in the third, the Phillies knocked Sanchez out and had runners on first and second with no outs but failed to score again. The Giants tied the game in the third and won on a solo homer by Uribe in the eighth.
