Phillies May Storyline

May was a nice month for the Phillies, who went 17-11 and finished with a 3-game lead in the National League East. It was not the easiest month on paper, either, with 18 of those games against winning ballclubs. They lost Adam Morgan, Pat Neshek, and Victor Arano to injuries, lost Odubel Herrera to an arrest, and lost their heart in David Montgomery. Through it all, they still maintained their place at the top of the NL East standings. Here's a look back at the month of May.
