As a baseball fan there are iconic moments about attending a live game that we know you love. The smell of hot dogs, the crack of the bat, the roar of the crowd when Nick Williams knocks a ball out of the park. These moments are what makes baseball special.
With just as many amazing moments, there are plenty of experiences that you might not enjoy as much. Having beer spilled on you as another fan works their way to a seat. Sitting outside during a rain delay. Forgetting sunscreen and getting a sunburn during a Sunday afternoon day game.
If you’ve ever attended a game and looked up at the suite level wondering who you needed to know to enjoy the game from a private box you are in luck! We’ve put together a behind the scenes sneak peek into everything you need to know about attending a Phillies game in a suite.
There are 78 suites at Citizens Bank Park, with four different levels of private boxes available depending on your group size. Citizens Bank Park suites are tastefully decorated and climate controlled, ensuring that no matter what the weather looks like outside you can enjoy the game from luxury. As you walk into the suite you’ll be greeted with a large interior lounge, ideal for gathering before the game begins.
Drink rails provide an overview of the field below or you can head outside to plush stadium seating. Tired of long lines at the restrooms? Each suite on the Dell DMC Suite level includes a private restroom just for your group! Most of the suites throughout the ballpark seat 16 - 24 guests but a few special locations are available for larger groups. The largest suite in the stadium is the Bill Giles Party Suite, holding up to 80 guests for a large corporate event or gathering.
The best part of being in a suite? Catering brought directly to your group. No need to stand in line when your Phillies suite attendant is on call to bring any order straight to your space. It’s important to know that catering is not typically included in the cost of the suite booking, but it’s easy to customize a menu that fits your budget. You can start off with something as simple as popcorn and sodas for about the same as you’d pay at the concession stands. For a more lavish affair, premium menu items can be selected off the Aramark catering menu.
Wondering what the cost is? Most Philadelphia Phillies suites start at $2,500 and go up to $10,000 for a large group and high demand game. For family gatherings of 16-20 guests a private suite can be a very competitive option in comparison to other seating options with similar amenities.
No matter how you plan to enjoy your season, there’s a perfect seat at the ballpark for all your favorite matchups. Have you ever attended a game in a suite? What did you like most about the experience?comments powered by Disqus
